California Resident Rights (CCPA)
If you reside in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act grants you the
authority to view, erase, or stop the sale of your personal data.
- How to Exercise Your Rights: You may submit a request by filling out the form at
the bottom of this page or by calling our privacy team at 855-214-2291.
- Verification Process: To protect your security, we must confirm your identity. If
your submitted details don't match our records, we may ask for additional proof. For high-level
"Right to Know" requests, we require a signed declaration under penalty of perjury to ensure your
data is only released to you.
- Timeline: We process "Do Not Sell" requests within 15 days. For
data access or
deletion requests, we provide a response within 30 days, though we may extend this
by another 45
days if the request is complex (we will notify you if an extension is needed).
Communication & Telemarketing Opt-Out (TCPA)
In accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), you have the right to
revoke your consent to receive automated marketing calls or text messages.
- Opting Out: You may use the contact methods listed above to request removal from
our calling lists.
- Mobile Messaging: For SMS specifically, you can also reply "STOP"
or similar to any
text message you receive from us to immediately opt-out of future mobile communications.
Authorized Representatives
If you are submitting a request on behalf of someone else, we require a written authorization or a valid
power of attorney. Please send these supporting documents to info@cover.com after you have submitted the initial request form. We
reserve the right to contact the consumer directly to verify that you have been granted permission to
act for them.
