Cover launches new customer messaging service

We have some exciting news to share. Today, we’ve launched our new messaging service called Cover Chat.

Built right into our app, Cover Chat give you the ability message your personal insurance advisor directly. At any time. Whenever you want. 

While we’ve made sure the process of buying insurance is jargon-proof in our app, you can now easily contact your advisor via SMS to check anything you’re unsure about. 

Instead of using search engines to get answers that may or may not deal with your questions, you’ll receive tailored advice about insurance, coverages, and your policy.

To use the feature, just download the Cover app. When you sign up you’ll be prompted to save the contact details of your Cover insurance advisor — allowing you to text your questions to them. From there you just tap two buttons and everything is taken care of.

You’re free to message (or not) whenever you want. In a matter of minutes, you can expect a personalized response.

Why did we add this feature?

Let’s face it; insurance is confusing. The jargon, the complexity, and a set of rules for each state. It all adds up to a scenario where finding advice online for your exact situation is easier said than done.

At Cover we want to take the uncertainty out of buying insurance and help you understand your policy, by being transparent and straightforward with the details.

With this feature, you can ask any questions about insurance based on what you can pay, the car you drive, how often you drive, and more.

The addition of Cover Chat is part of our mission to make insurance easier for everyone. 

What hasn’t changed?

You’ll still get that intuitive tech experience with our app. And you’re still able to get an auto quote in under three minutes by only answering a few short questions. We’ll scan over 30 different providers to get you the best rate possible with the coverage you want.
